As a Proportun Tenant, you may use the form below to notify us of issues that are adversely affecting the appearance or functionality of the home or its features, and which have a flexible timeframe for resolution.

General, handyman maintenance requests must be submitted in writing—either through email or the form below—to be processed as a work order. Please provide as much detail as possible and send images by email to further clarify the issue.

Process

Valuing your time and your interests, upon receiving your maintenance request, we will intend to respond within 24 hours—even on weekends! Upon review of your request, our first action will likely be to visit the home to asses the situation and inform next steps.

Based on the assessment, then, a work order may be opened to fulfill the request. All work orders are commonly handled in the order in which they were received, although some may take priority based on circumstance. Also note that, for most general maintenance issues, we need to ask for and attain the property owner’s authorization before performing any related services to address the request.

Permissions

By submitting a maintenance request, you, as a tenant are expressly permitting Proportun associates and their trusted service providers to enter the home whether or not you are present. Notification to the occupants will be given whenever possible.

Scheduling the initial assessment and subsequent service visits will involve consultation with the tenant, although the actual timing of on-site activities and the total duration of the resolution may be dictated by the service provider’s availability and by other factors beyond Proportun’s control.

Locked Out?

We get it. Being unwittingly locked out of your home is incredibly inconvenient, and usually imposes a sense of urgency. Although — even if there is no additional reason for us to treat it as a three-alarm fire — we are here to assist, within our resources at hand.

Leaseholders who present their government issued, photo ID may pick up a spare key at Proportun’s offices during business hours at no charge. And after hours, if desired and if a Proportun associate is available to bring you a key, a fee of $75.00 will be due upon delivery, either in cash or through Proportun’s online remittance system.
